Fires are north of 67. Just west of Dinosaur valley is torched. Unreal. It's like looking at the moon with burned cedar carcasses. No signs of life for miles. Many neighbors lost everything.

I was on a wildland firefighting strike force team working the Canadian TX area during the panhandle fires several years ago. That is the way it was there. It was surreal even to me after working it for several days. You could look out in every direction as far as you could see a scorched landscape that appeared like something from another world.
