I still got at least 5k each of SRP, LRP, and SPP at that price. And then fewer LRP and 209s from back in those days. I shoot a lot though - the last 2 years I've ran through the majority of my old supply (over 25k rounds total, each year - significantly less than many prior years). I've been replenishing my stock @ the newer prices though as it becomes available, so my overall stock can maintain my shooting hobby at its current level for several years. Newer primer pricing, when you can find some trickling down, sucks if you are comparing it to the "old days" (aka 2 years ago lol) but as others have said, in a few years everyone will be wishing they had bought primers back when they were $0.07 - 0.10/primer ... In the scheme of things, it's an insignificant price to pay for quality custom loaded ammo and the ability to ensure you are never without the ammo you need when everyone else is crying about not being able to find the ammo they want.

I agree with Ol Thumper, the primer trickle is going to get worse - so, if you need some you should get them now. There's been nothing but a steady decline in availability of both primers and powders. The question I'm waiting to find an answer for is when they'll institute the next price hike on the components and how big is it going to be.

I basically stopped using them. It's an option some cannot or will not take. I think they will come down too but not for a while and not much.

Pass the gravy.

Does that make you one of the hoarders you speak of?

To some degree yes, I use about 2-3k per year, but the uncertainty has caused me to buy more than I would normally. If I see what I want for a good price I grab them, and lots of folks are doing the same.

Are what I need.

Shoot me a text tomorrow to remind me to check on the 215’s, I know where some are but I have to verify the shipping situation.

Fellows the ammo and primer plant your referring to is the Expansion Industries plant. Supposedly they’re going to produce primers first then ammo. From what I’ve heard you’ll be able to buy directly from them.
