We burned up 3 foodsavers so we bought this one and it has worked flawlessly without missing a beat. In addition, you can parts and repair it yourself if the need arises.

A chamber sealer is hard to beat. Vacmaster has some great products. If you dont know about chamber sealers look them up and see what they are about. May not be what you need.

Costco had FoodSaver and bags that go on sale/rebate a few times per year.

Food saver. Sever years old. Used maybe once a month. Sometimes 100+ pounds of meat at a time.
Favorite use is preseason steaks and seal them when I buy them. Then freeze them. Take them out and allow them to come to room temperature when you want to cook them. No mess no fuss. Cut the bag open standing at the grill. Meat on the grill and bag in the trash.

My food saver is somewhere around 15 years old. It’s great for occasional use.
