Academy has Aguila in standard and high velocity for dove/quail. I’m familiar with the Aguila brand in rim and center fire. Just never shot their shotgun ammo.
Anyone ever use these?? 69 a case for the standard which in today’s time is very affordable.

Quick google check shows trapshooters and shotgunworld threads that have common themes…Aguila shot shells shoot reliably…but very dirty.
Overall, not bad for their price point…

I was in Academy today. Remington Heavy Dove Load were $89.99 a case. $20 too high but I guess that is cheap in Today's World.

I have never used Augila shells, I've been using Monarch Wing and Clay, Winchester Super X and Remington Heavy dove... i like the monarch alot better, 1300FPS velocity as where most other dove loads around 1200 or 1250. One evening the dove were flying high and darting, i shot 2, but had to pull the heads off of them.. the next evening i used the Monarch, same deal flying high and darting around, either my lead got better or the Monarch shells put them down harder. https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/mo...ls?sku=2-75-20-gauge--8-shot-type-7-8-oz

I have shot a few boxes, I would say they are equal to Rio, reliable but dirty. If you can get monarch high brass, buy it!
