Lot of this. At the shop, my prices were only up 5-10% on most items from precovid pricing because it cost me that much to restock at new pricing from manufacturers. I'm fine with not gouging since my profit margins were the same and I've been selling a lot more quantity. We'd have a lot of people not wanting to pay that 5-10% extra and going to wait until after "guaranteed Trump win to restock."

Yes, but POTUS can drive up prices on brass, powder and primers all on his lonesome.

I expect they will do it with executive orders and drive prices up based on legal costs.

And more left-leaning Federal judges.

And/or having the military buy lots of ammo.

And there are plenty of Congressmen and Senators in pink states that could flip their votes which would just leave SCOTUS.

Was a post on another forum during the .22 shortage, the guy had purchased a pallet of 22 ammo & was trying to sell it for $70 per 50 ct.

I just bought 7.62 steel at Academy for 28 cents per round.
If anyone wants to give me $3.oo per round I will certainly take it
Also bought 9mm at 3o cents per round with no limit on the number of boxes

Supply and demand = Capitalism. No one ever said capitalism is fair but it’s the best system in the world. If you don’t like the price don’t buy and before long the price will reflect what the market is willing to pay. Simple red blooded economics.

Not everyone has an Academy to go to. Lots of us don't have a local retail option. We have Atwood's and Walmart, neither of which I enter much. All this is why I learned to reload and why I buy mid-term when supply is up and prices are down.

Some people do not think ahead. I have to since I cannot waste the time and gas to drive an hour round trip just in hopes of finding ammo in Denton or Sherman.

Why do people concern themselves so with the asking price of someones's property?
