Bought two recently at Academy for $12.99 each. for my pre-wired Anerican Hunter feeders and personally tested it and must admit, it packs a punch. Don't forsee any cons or squirrels or birds jacking with the feeders having that thing wired into it. Only drawback I read about was a drain on the 6V battery based on how many times it shocks something.

Sounds like a mild taser, should work pretty good.

Most definitely, I would say like 5x the shock of putting your tongue on a 9V when you were a kid but on your hand

If your control box has room for it, use a second 6v battery & solar charger on a dedicated circuit for the zapper by itself.

Unfortunately, I've been experiencing some shock like twinges in my thumb since testing the Zapper twice. Never felt anything similar prior to it. Dumb move obviously.
