I saw that! How the heck did that happen anyway? Looked slightly dangerous.....I looked at hodgdon’s site and that’s way over for a 120 class bullet! He worked up a load with one scale, then all of a sudden switched scales. He did not ask my permission before doing this.

The Cadillac of the bullets for the 6.5mm is the 147 ELD-M. I am thinking about switching to it in my 6.5x47 Lapua. I worked up a very good load with the 140 VLD-H bullets, and I am out (I had 20,000 of them!!!). This 147 would be a very good one to change to. Bet your velocity loss cancels out BC, in the 6.5 X 47. Meaning, you're no better off with the 147's.

FYI 41.x is listed as max in Hodgdon reloading for 140s. 140 is 41.1 and 143 in 41.9
I found a decent node at 41. I may push it more by just wanted to let you know 40.0 gr is Hodgdon's max for H-4350 and a 140 gr, as well. Everyone runs 42.0 to 43.0 gr. Just sayin. just pointing out he was starting a load over book max Pushing is fine if people want to. But as a general rule I don’t start load development over book max

And we found that out by testing on a rifle range, instead of what we read on the internet, or in a book.

I have two boxes of ELD-X 143's and itching to test them for winter hunting season with some H4350. Since I had the 6.5 Creed built, I have been slinging 6.5 Hybrids / 140 grains just for target. Should be easy to find a node.
