I was completely bummed when Hornady stopped making the great .257 120 grain Interlock hollow point. I heard they designed this baby for elk hunting with the 257 Weatherby. I loved this bullet in my 257 Roberts. It opened easy and plowed through bone. It acted like a premium but with the great Hornady Interlock price. It even had the same BC at the 117 SST.
Interlock and Speer have drastically reduced their offering for Interlocks and Hot Cors. Too bad because they are great bullets at great prices.

Most Berger bullets right now. Can't get em! I have a bunch in stock, but some are gone for a while.
I'd say I don't miss any discontinued bullets. I have plenty of bullet options and I'll just load up a new one.

60gr .224 Nosler Solid Base 180gr .357 Nosler Partition 44 Mag Nosler Partition
Factory ammo discontinued that I miss Hornady 7mm-08 Lite-Mag it was as acurate as my reloads at least with me shooting a Rem 788 with a 2-7 scope. Will not say from the bench that was a half MOA combination but dang close to it. Average of all the groups I shot with it would be less than .6 which for lower powered scope, factory rifle and trigger ain't bad. Back to my relloads in that rifle though which is fine.

I was always fond of the Nosler Solid Base Boattails. I was sure that one was coming. A lot of people seem to miss that bullet. I've never used one but it comes up all the time on forums.

The ones of the Nosler solid base I have are used sparingly for a couple loads worked up years ago. All I have left are a couple boxes of 60gr .224 varity.

I loved that 60 Nosler Solid Base. My daughter shot several deer with that bullet out of her 223. We shot the last ones of them we had this year.

Always cast for handgun loads, but I wanted to use Partitions with sabots in my muzzle loader. They discontinued them when I got that rifle.

I ended up using XTPs. They're plenty accurate, but I've never shot anything with it other than paper targets. I have a feeling tjat when I do use it on an animal, they'll work fine.
I'm actually glad I never tried the old Solid Base Nosler. I'd have ended up disgruntled when they killed it.
I do wish Hornady still made their flat-nose bullet that was suitable for .375 Winchester. I think it was a 250-grain, or maybe 225. I ended up going with Speer 235s with the exposed tip flattened. Should ne a hog hammer.

Sierra's .243 100gr Semi-pointed bullet was a killing machine... but lots of good replacements for it these days.

If you want to know which bullet will be discontinued next, just ask me what my current favorite bullet is... The Speer Hot Cors will come back because Speer likes to introduce new bullet lines and then pull them off the shelf after a year.
