The 10mm wishes it was a .41 Mag, but ammo for the 10 might be easier to find. No problem for handloaders, though.

And the 41 Mag said, "I wish I could shoot that fast in a semi-auto!" The 10mm is a 41 Mag in a semi auto. What's not to like about that!

But if I wanted a .41 in a semiautomatic, I'd consider a Desert Eagle. Maybe. They're just too blasted big. I may yet acquire a 10mm, but it would definitely be a semi. Besides possible extraction issues I see nothing wrong with a revolver in 10mm...but I AM a .41 Mag fan. But if a guy wants a 10mm revolver, I say go for it.

Never got excited about a semi round, in a wheel gun, just me. I did pass on a 610 5" ANIB years ago at an AstroHall show, price about $500..........still think about that one. Do think a 4" is a better package.
That said, I like the 10, in a semi, and love the 41. Been saying for MANY years Ruger should make the GP-100 in 41, esp in a full shroud SS like the original 357. Even if a 5-shot.

Doesn’t even look back at the .41 mag category and to top it off, The 10 mm in a Glock platform has 16 rounds of that in one magazine....41 mag ain’t got sheeet on that!

I agree with a few posts above. If you get out of "on the shelf ammo" and maximize you firearm, the possibilities open up.
If I'm going 10mm, it is going to be a semi-auto. There are a few available so pick you choosing.
If I'm gong magnum or big-shot revolver, it's going to be a Ruger.
If I could only own one handgun, it would be a GP100 in .357, you pick your model.

Mmmm love me some Buffalo Bore. Throw a couple of my 300 grain cast 460 rounds down range at 2180fps from the muzzle and it will make you smile.

I don't buy factory ammo so I don't know if BB offers anything for .41 Mag, but being a handloader I can soup up a .41 Mag load to levels that 10mm can't touch. Won't tear up my revolvers either.

Buffalo Bore 10 mm runs about 300 ft-lbs shy of the Buffalo Bore 41 mag in every weight catagory. Not putting down the 10mm it simply doesn't have the case capacity to compete with the 41. Their hardest hitting load for the 10mm (They have 3) shows 728 ft-lbs. Their 41 loads (they have 6) shows none less than 1,028 ft-lbs. Their 10 mm loads run about 50 ft-lbs less than their 357 magnum loads.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

And only needs a 4” barrel to do all of it.
