For good all round semi auto in order of importance
Skeet/sporting clays a few times a year Dove hunting Ducks Other
No jamming junk and let's say 600-$1000 If there is something that much more special for a 100- 200 go ahead and say it

I think the 'sleeper' out there is the Weatherby SA-08 in either 20 or 12. Copy of the old Beretta 303, which was a mainstay in the clays world. Reasonably priced too - see them on gunbroker for $550-$650. Beretta A300 is the current iteration of the 301,302,303,390,391 progression. Good reviews on it. Can be had for $700-$900. I know Winchester has some good one's out there but, the one's I've shot really didn't fit so I haven't kept up on them. The Remington 1100/11-87 family is a good one. You can find 1100's new for around $900-1100. The 11-87 can be found around $600-$900 depending on what style you like.
Just a few off of my head.

Personally I'm a fan of the Browning Silver Hunter and the Beretta 390,391, or the newer A-series.

Beretta 390/391 is tough to beat for the money and dependability.

I have the Weatherby SA-08 and it has been great. All the Berettas are really nice but more than I wanted to spend. Go look at them all and buy the one you like the best.

I really wanted to love the Beretta 390, but the one I had just didn't fit me well at all. It's a shame, because the few times I shot it, it just seemed like a really well-made gun. I think that would be a great option in your price range with reliability as the primary concern.
I ended up with a Beretta AL-2 that I paid $350 for. It's got a fixed choke, but it's a joy to shoot. Well-balanced and reliable as long as I'm not using light loads. It doesn't have the relief valve that the 390 and subsequent models got, so it won't handle super-light loads, but it's 100% reliable with any medium or heavy load and a great value at what they go for.

The semi’s on the market today are damn good. Whichever one you pick will be fine in the reliability department unless you get the he rare lemon which happens with all makers. I currently own Winchester, Browning, Weatherby, Franchi and FABARM. I’ve recently owned Beretta, Benelli and Mossberg. The ones I owned ran great but I didn’t shoot them well because of fit. The shotguns I currently own I shoot well, because they fit and it’s why I still have them. Shimming can only go so far. So I believe fit should be your number one priority.
Based on your criteria most of the shooting you will be doing is stationary and some of it will be high volume. For that reason I’d go gas over inertia and heavier weight wise as opposed to light. That would be priority two.
Third priority would be brand. The only major brand I haven’t covered is Remington and I’d definitely throw the V3 and VersaMax into the mix. Didn’t mention them before because I’ve only handled them and not shot them. Shimming though it’s not the be all end all can quite often help greatly. Be aware the V3 doesn’t come with shims.
Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.
