Looking for recommendations for my group. Best to us means birds not amenities. We were gonna go with Paloma Pachanga this year but they no longer do day hunts. Only 6 of us. Thx

5 hrs. from Cypress would be about our max. We normally hunt Pearsall, Dilly, Lytle area, but we’re looking to do a central zone hunt this year. We could go Special White Wing if that’s the best available; we’re looking to hunt September 1-2.

We use Golden Triangle Outiftters in Uvalde and I know they do the special white wings. However with opening day laying over the weekend he might be already booked up.

Also reach out to Haiden at South Texas Hunting Outfitters, he has a lot of land in that area as well.

Had plenty out at my place yesterday. Went to do some work to my cabin before Sept gets here and we could of shot limits off my front porch. Good to see but real early.

San Antonio area will be good for the first weekend and maybe one other, but after that head deeper into South Texas. With the earlier start to South Zone this year, the opener should have plenty of white wing this year!

El Campo produces some outstanding white wing action that is close to home. For Central Zone, New Braunfels and Seguin would be some good choices.
