does anyone buy their seed separate not in those food plot mix bags?
If so where at, so far feed stores are just pointing me to the mix bags but not everything in those food plot mix bags comes up so i figured i would get the seeds i want and not pay for what i don't want.

I buy seperate bags of seed or have the seed store mix it for me. I buy from Turner Seed Co. in Breckridge, Douglas King in San Antonio or Pogue Agri Partners in Kenedy. They all charge a mixing fee so it gets more pricey but the seed is mixed already and ready to plant and you make the seed choices. If I am planting enough acreage I buy the bags and premix the seed myself as I plant.

Check with local feed stores that keep a large supply of food plot seeds on hand then ask them what works best for your area. I order from Turner and have them ship it to me. My mix and quantity I want. Size of your plot makes a huge difference in what you are doing also. Try calling M-G in Weimer also.
