How long you cook them in the oven wrapped in foil? I microwave them. Get two plastic bags from the grocery store, wash potatoes, stab with fork or knife few times. Put two potatoes in a plastic bag and seal and then put the sealed bag inside another bag and seal. Cook 6 minutes.

Been throwing them in a crock pot in between morning and evening hunting. Let them cook for a few hours. They come out great and you don't have to hear up the whole kitchen with the oven.

One hour in the oven. Five to 8 minutes in the microwave.

try this...
microwave for a few minutes until they're really hot but not cooked. brush with olive or vegetable oil then salt and pepper em good. finish em on the grill - grill em until done (usually about 10 mins or so). The skin will crisp. you want them to have a little bit of a roast to the skin but not charred.
I do this when I cook steak. get the potatos going for a bit first and then grill the steaks med rare at the same time. The potatos need to go longer but this gives the steaks time to rest while they finish. also gives the potatos a little smoke flavor.

If we want a quick baker we'll microwave as said ^^^. If we want a restaurant style baker, I rub some warm bacon grease on the skin, sprinkle with salt and wrap in foil, then put in oven for 45 minutes at 475.

Still waiting on Bill to post a picture of a baked potato he made 5 years ago.... It's been almost two weeks since he posted the ATV in the back of his truck. He's slowing down I guess.

Best way to bake them is to cut into slices or small chunks and fry up in bacon grease.

Usually about an hour at 450. 450 temp, time depends on size. But normally hour is good, but really when it goes soft it is done. I always do twice baked.

Build a fire, rub them in butter with salt and pepper. Wrap them in foil and bury them in the coals. When you have had enough beer and get hungry pull them out.

I wash mine, poke lots of holes with a fork, cover with a layer of course salt ( wet from the washing will make the salt stick) then wrap in foil.... cook 45-60 minuets at 450 until soft. Open and add butter. The holes and salt will pull water from the potato making it “fluffy”.....
