I'd think there would still be some toms looking for love in May. Depends on how many birds you have, and whether those receptive hens that breed have already been bred.

The best turkey hunt I've ever been on was in the 2nd week of May one evening. Called in and killed three long beards at three different locations.

We have a bunch of turkeys we see 80 to 100 just about every afternoon of deer season at the feeders

We have a bunch of turkeys we see 80 to 100 just about every afternoon of deer season at the feeders Those would be wintering flocks of turkeys. In the spring, turkeys break up and spread out. Some ranches are large enough to hold them, but most lose some birds. Some ranches have no birds in the winter, only to be loaded in the spring. It all depends on nesting habitat.
