Where would be the best/ cheapest place to buy an AR-15 in the Houston area? Thanks for your help!

Academy in DFW has been getting some in. Look at the S&W MP-15

Try the ARMS ROOM in League City going towards Galveston.

Try Tomball Pawn shop. I bought mine there about a month ago and I paid $1,000 total with tax. Brand new S&W MP15. Great gun selection (new) and good prices

Try buying everything you want online and have it shipped to your front door. Then just go pick up a lower somewhere... gun show maybe...then you get it just like you like it... save some money.... and don't have to take off and replace all the crap you don't want. Plus you get to know the gun inside and out. Seen too many people go buy a plain jane version from Academy only to realize that the plastic round hand gaurds won't hold a light or lazer... then they have to tear it all apart and go buy more rails. I guess what I'm trying to say is be sure to get exactally what you want b/c they are not cheap.
