I forgot to lock the hog trap door open yesterday. Thought i’d better check it this morning. Big boar in there. Probably not 200 pounds, but still big enough. He’s not happy and neither am I. Man, it’s cold out there. He’s probably thinking his morning isn’t going real well. It’s gonna get worse.

Snakewrangler, the hog is just the usual big ugly black version, with no significant tusks. But I will take a picture. Might as well.
He sure does stink.

A bit bigger hog than I had thought. Real thick in the chest. Danged hard to drag out of the trap. He might have been near 200 pounds.
My flightless buzzard saw the dead hog and was working his way closer by the time I left the ROW. He better chow down now, before the hog turns into a pigsicle in this weather.
