We had squirrels chew through our soffet and now running around in our attic. I managed to clip 2 with a bb gun, but there's still squirrels running. Went and bought a trap and baited it with peanuts, but looking for any tips. Better bait? I tried peanut butter but no dice with that. Do i need to disguise the trap? Different bait? I will be boiling squirrel skulls and adding them to our trophy room dammit. This is personal now lol

Use a fogger type thing (like you would for roaches, only for pests). Should kill 'em or have 'em clear out quickly.

Take some empty pill bottles and drill small holes in them, put some cotton balls in them and drip some fox urine onto cotton balls, cap and throw up in the attic. Check at Tractor Supply or sporting good stores for the fox urine.Son lived in Bedford,Texas and they left and never returned.

Kill all of the destructive bastages.....rats, mice, tree rats....no difference.....they are all snake food as far as I’m concerned....

Corn on the cob tied to the trigger has worked best so far.

I use the big rat traps that look like an oversized mousetrap. Glue some corn or peanuts to the release mechanism so they really have to tug on it. Works like a charm.

110 Conibear trap set along an attic header, or where ever they travel. Or build a box and put corn in it and the trap at the entrance.

110 Conibear trap set along an attic header, or where ever they travel. Or build a box and put corn in it and the trap at the entrance. This is your best bet. Squirrels do not "live" in an attic they come and go, so find where they are coming in and out and put the conibear right over that, catch em coming or going with no bait needed. Do this until you go a couple of days without catching one and then close up the hole. Fox urine and stuff like that doesn't always work and unfortunately anything non lethal and they will come right back (have seen em chew threw wire mesh easy) A box trap like a hav-a-hart is far less effective for trapping a squirrel

I trap those little tree rats with a 22 or pellet gun. Find a couple kids with pellet rifles and give them a dollar per tail, it temporarily worked for me. Need to have them out again.

I cleaned my trap and reset it with a fresh corn on the cob, but got lazy and didn't tie it down. Squirrel managed to flip the trap upside down and the doors opened enough for him to get free. My own fault amh. It's tied down now. So far i habe caught 2

Another little bird today. Sorry....but that’s really funny....if you were trapping birds you would be catching squirrels.....
