Looking for a good everyday pocket folding work knife , used for just about everything that holds a good sharp edge . Not a straight tang with sheath , but if the occasion came along to maybe skin a little hide that it could handle that too . Been looking at Buck knifes , Kershaws , Old Timers , Case in the $30.00-$60.00 range . Other suggestions might work also .

I have been carrying one of these for over a year now. It's a "Don't cry if I lose it" knife. The steel has been GREAT. It holds an edge and dresses up very easy. I use it for all sorts of chores. Yes... It's an imported Ka-Bar, but I think it is a fantastic "disposable" knife. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BSWEBY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I'm sure I'll get bashed for it, but it fits my particular agenda.

Looks like a decent folder . I know it’s imported but you can also find that same knife on Ka-Bar site which they sell also and the aus8a blade isn’t bad steel either . Thsnks for the suggestion .

I carried one of these for 27 years. It finally just wore out. Got another one now. Both are the yellow handle type.

I've carried a Kershaw whirlwind for probably 16 or 17 years. Fits my hand well, the contour tucks in my pocket nicely with the picket clip, assisted opening, and it holds an edge well. I prefer a half serrated blade for my applications.

I been carrying this Hoffman Ritcher a few times . It's basically a survival knife but really is a heavy knife but does the job . I just want something different not as heavy . It's 5" long folded and 8.25" extended and has the serrated blade which is 3.75" . Just a little bulky for EDC for everyday work . I'll check out the Case and Kershaw and Buck knifes . I'll check the local Academy and see what they carry and if I don't find one there i'll order one online .

Strictly for the rich , a collectors knife also . However I'll give you $40.00 for yours if you have one and not a penny more !

I was given a Hoffman Ritcher like you pictured. They are incredibly heavy and bulky, I've never carried it, it sits with all my other knives I've collected over the years.

It was given to me as a gift, but it is so light it turned into my edc. If I lost it I would buy myself another one because I like it so much.

Above your stated price but I love my Benchmade Griptillion knives. I bought one when I was in undergrad 10+ years ago and I've managed not to lose it. I found another one after a MS State football game laying on the bleachers. I'm sure someone stirred some whiskey in a coke with it and forgot it. It was beyond dull. I sent it back to Benchmade and for basically the cost of shipping each way they ruturned it to a factory razor edge and made sure all the bearings and everything were gtg. I also found a Mini when my gf, now wife, cleaned out her car to sell it. It had a broke blade. sent it back. New blade and its good as new. I actually like the mini version a lot for EDC. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NTE13NW/ref=twister_B06XKRZX76?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

My Case was half that price and perfect for my meeds .
