Normally between 7-8 in the mornings and around 5 in the evening, but we almost completely switched to gravity feeders now because of the hogs.

right now I'm throwing at 8am and 6pm then at 10pm. I think its worth saying I live 8 miles from where I'm hunting and am not competing with other hunters or neighbors hunting.
I like 8am cause they don't bed down close to the feeder and bust me coming in. 6pm also gives me a chance to get in way before they come around. The 10pm keeps the deer in the area. Its amazing how popular this feeding is. When acorns are falling hard like they are right now they tend to like to hit the feeder at this time. I think its just an easy snack. I can't prove it but I think they start coming more often during the 6pm feeding when I do this. Like they get lazy and just hang around the area more. Mostly does and fawns but thats a great thing to have.

7 am and 4 pm. Come November I'll set them to bump a second or two every hour on the hour.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

I adjust mine according to the time of year. Last week I adjusted it from 6:45 am & 7:15 pm to 7 & 7. By the time November 4th comes around I will have it throwing right before first light and around 4 pm. I set it to where it goes off right before or at first light all of the time, then after deer hunting season I will continuously change the pm according to the temperature and amount of daylight and deer movement

With 12 feeders and 5 (plus guests) hunters, we stick with one setting, 7:15am & 4:30pm CST from beginning to end of season. 'Took me 2 years to convince our "manager" that 6:50am doesn't cut it after Christmas.

I throw corn 15 minutes before (morning) legal shooting light, and about 1.5-2hr before last legal shooting light. Sometimes they get a 1 second spin for a snack at noon.

7:30 and 4:30 during season. Just once a day in morning from February to September 1, and back down on run time.
I find that I lose a lot less corn (and feeder damage) to raccoons if I don't feed in the afternoon in off-season. The deer come in early and scarf up all of the corn on the ground, and I think a lot less attractant for the varmints.

Deer feeders, 7 and 4 (8 and 5 current time). Never change them but we only start feeding in Sept. Hog feeders change with daylight all the time. Feed in morning during turkey season. Only hunt at dusk and night piggies. Morning is for sleeping in off season.
