Is it legal to use a homemade PVC bow to hunt deer? I'm asking for a friend.
If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

There is no minimum draw requirement for longbows, compound bows or recurve bows
A crossbow is lawful for game animals and game birds, provided:
the crossbow has a minimum pull of 125 pounds; the crossbow has a mechanical safety; and the crossbow stock is not less than 25 inches in length. Telescopic sights are lawful.

Went back and read the regulations and there isn't any as to the bow, only the width of the broadhead as mentioned above. There used to be a restriction where the bow had to be able to cast an arrow a certain distance, but looks like that has been removed.
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Thank you guys. It won't hurt if I, I mean my friend, calls the local GW just to be 100% sure.

Saw a guy on You Tube build one for bow fishing. Think it broke on the second shot.
