I have the T-mate and also the HME one from Cabela's. Don't have a favrotie. HME seems more flexible. They both get bumped and moved by cows but the HME definitely ends up[ in weirder positions.

I bought a camera tripod in a garage sale for $4. I threw the legs away and attached the camera mast to my t-post with a couple of hose clamps. Infinitely adjustable.

There are some nifty gadgets on here. But I have 11 cameras tied to T posts wire regular old tie wire. I just drive the post so the camera sits on two sides. Maybe a stick to adjust or lean the post a bit, no problems.

Do you have a website or facebook page showing this stuff?;)

I didn't know there was a product out there for this either....gonna have to give that a try
I've just been cutting an 8" section of cedar 4x4 and drilling it out to hammer down on top of the t-post...then screw the camera to the 4x4...been working fine for me and haven't had cows destroy it yet.

Thanks Everyone.
I am looking at Tee post for a simple solution . We are going to use these to monitor ducks and geese in a water treatment plant. No cattle or live stock of any kind, no trees, no mesquite, only a tumble weed or two. Additionally this is a grid of rectangular "lagoons" there are three rows of three and separated by dams that you drive across the top. Not much room. The Tee Post would be great to set and easy to move as needed.
Since this is a youth hunting program it will also let the youth have an Idea of how to monitor the number of game and what time they are there.
Thank You Robert

Never used game cames til last year. Have one now on the whole place, strapped it to a corner t-post of my barb wire feed pen using the strap it came with using the barb wire as horizontal / position support. No problems so far.
The T-mate looks like a nice product, if I was in the market and unhappy with current way of doing things probably go that route. Honestly the only thing I want out of the camera is to know if and when pigs are showing up so I can shoot those stinking SOB's. I like to look at deer but really would rather be surprised and happy when a decent sized one walks out and I shoot it.

I used a piece of 8"x12" plywood and two u-bolts to tie them to the t-post. Six years and so far so good....

I just use a heavy duty zip tie and strap it to the t-post, as long as you don't have cows it will work. This is exactly what I do, and even with cows, no issues.
Thank you...thank you very much

I have this and use zip ties or stainless steel zip ties. http://www.murphymetalart.com/trailcamera.html

I used a piece of 8"x12" plywood and two u-bolts to tie them to the t-post. Six years and so far so good.... This is what I do as well. I use the built-in bolt hole on the back of the camera to attach the camera to the board and then use the u-bolts to attach the board to the T-post. Before that I just attached the camera to the post with the built in strap. That lasted a year or so until the strap rotted and the cows ate it.
Thanks, Rich

The T mate looks like a good option if one has metal posts, if you don't have metal posts, I make a mount that screws into any wood.
My mounts can be seen at thinklocalmarket dot com - then go to recreation, - then to hunting. It's called, The Carcajou Mount.
Where there are no trees, I screw one of my mounts into a length of dowel. I use 1/12 inch dowel. Then I push or drive the dowel into the ground where I want my camera and install the camera. Instant tree.
Hope I'm not violating any rules by mentioning my product.

Howdy, I'm the guy who manufactures T-Mate®. 1) I'm a diy'er which is how I came up with the idea and I have nothing but respect for folks finding their own solution. 2) I realize my T-Mate is not the most flexible or versatile option but I deliberately gave up some adjustability for security. I welcome anyone to email me directly if you have specific needs or questions. I see others have talked about products they manufacture for sale so I guess it's okay to do so. I don't wish to take sales away from other manufacturers, especially where their products are as good or better then mine. But from what I am seeing, my mount fills a niche that others don't. This is my mount. It is designed for use on cameras equipped with a tripod mount. That is the 1/4 x 20 threaded insert on the bottom of most cameras. It is 5 inches long by 1 inch wide and weighs just under one ounce. It is all metal construction with stainless steel thumb screw and stainless steel hinge bolt and wing nut. It works on any wood surface no matter the orientation. And it works on stems as small as 1 inch in diameter, or if no trees are present, it can be mounted on a length of dowel driven into the ground. It requires no tools for installation or adjustment. And it is small enough to be unnoticeable even from close up. It also allows for fast and easy aiming of the camera, via the hinge bolt/wing nut, and the thumb screw camera attachment. I sell them for $15.00 Canadian, plus shipping.
Do for yourself as much as you can, eat what nature provides as much as you can. This is the key to sleeping well and living long.

I have one of my cameras setup for portable use. I have a 15" car rim with a 3' piece of pipe welded in the center. I have a piece of 1/8" plate welded on the pipe with the top bent over. You can mount a camera under the lip of use the lip with a 1/4-20 screw for bottom mount cameras. I move it around as needed but have learned to set it back in the brush to keep the cows from knocking it over like in the picture. For the OP, this might be a better solution as it's easily portable and you don't have to drive and pull tposts, just pick it up and put it where you want it.
