I am looking to upgrade my shot gun for next season, I am currently trying to decide between the Beretta A400 Extreme and the Benelli Super Black eagle III. Hit me with your thoughts

As other threads have indicated, fit trumps all when it comes to shotguns. It would be best of you could try a round of clay pigeons with both candidates before you bought.

Both good guns but make sure they fit!

Shoulder the new A5 while you're at it.

Have shot both and have owned the A400 (sold). Son owns the Black Eagle. I personally prefer the Benelli over the Beretta. I shoot a Benelli M1 Super 90 and love it. a lot easier to keep clean and love the inertia over the gas. Take a look at the Franchi Infinity have one of those in a 20ga. same inertia set up. Anyway that's my 2 cents for what's it worth.

I just bought the Beretta A350 (3") instead of going with the A400. I'm a dealer, and can get dealer pricing on the A400, if needed.

Never owned a Beneli but love my Beretta. I agree it is all about fit.
