...at everything. I've never owned an animal that needed any training as far as dealing with wildlife and hunting.

So here's the latest story:

I took him to Wyoming on our annual trip of 3 days of fly fishing to the miracle mile west of Casper. He rode in the drift boat all 3 days and swam in the river every chance he got. On day 3 when the guide loaded the boat, there wasn't anyone around so I let him run around and within a couple minutes I heard his baying bark and walked about 50 feet to see what he was carrying on about and he was baying at a bull snake. When I saw it I ran to the truck to get my phone and Bart followed so I walked back close to the snake and made a video of it. I'm still taking him to a snake avoidance clinic in August, but I sure feel a lot better about him encountering snakes.

Good to see, makes you worry less

Im missing mine BAD... she is at the trainer one more week!

Im excited to see how bart does does this fall on some real critters. Have you worked retieving with him much?

He'll retrieve til you get tired of throwing the bumper and we'll start blind retrieves in a couple weeks. And he's doing just as well in the water and he's already retrieved his 1st 2 Eurasian dove I shot behind my house awhile back.

Nice, I keep saying i need to pop a couple with the air rifle to freeze but havnt done it yet.
