Had a great few days of fishing this week. Fished for 2 nights and caught 39 total fish. We kept 38. Most of those were Blues that were 1-3 lbs. Most of the Blues were caught on cut bait, with 10 or so coming off of live bait. We let one fish go, and that was a 43 lb yellow cat the first night, right after a storm rolled through. That big yellow bit on a piece of cut carp that was the size of a half dollar. Never seen that before. That was the biggest fish I've ever seen/caught, same for my buddy as well.

What a GIANT!! Congrats! Great haul on the eaters too. Sure nice to watch the big ones swim away at release. Thank you for practicing catch, pic, release on the old beauty!

That's the first time I've caught one big enough to even think about releasing. My buddy is the one who really talked me into, glad we did though. This was at Richland Chambers.

 I was fortunate enough to get an invite to do some saltwater fishing around Sargent a few days ago. Definitely the best trout fishing I've ever seen. It's been a good past couple weeks for me as far as fishing goes. Hopefully that luck carries over into deer season.
