Congrats on the retirement and the fine looking shotgun. There was a 687 Silver Pigeon in 410 listed on here just the other day that is very nice. At this time I can't justify buying it and I don't know what I would do wit it as I already have a couple of 12's, a 20, and a 28. However, it would fill the 410 hole that I have.

Yea I've got a 12 and 20 gauge Citori but this will be my first 28 gauge.

I think you will like the 28 it's easy to carry but I found that the shells cost a little more. I used my 12 auto last year during dove season and couldn't hit a thing. I went out a couple of months ago and did some trap shooting with the 28 and it was lights out different so I'm taking the 28 OU out this season. I want to get back to Kansas to do some bird hunting and that's where it makes a big difference when you walk a field all day.
