My new Hog Killer.
.223 heavy 7" barrel 1-7 twist .
Overall length 25 inches.
3-9 Nikon with BDC rectical .
45' angeled red dot.
3lb trigger, trigger adjuster screw,3 port comp, 3"-9" bipod
Quick release 2 point sling.
No slip rubber ergo grip.
7"Super light key mod forend .
9lbs 2 oz with 20 round war fighter mag
What ya all think?

Should Put a night vision/ thermal on it Yes your right73 gr ELD Match bullets would be very slow out of a 7 " barrel With out them chronoed im going to guess some where between 2000 to 2200 FPS

Heavy, short, loud, perfect for you!  You got that about right,,, even the ROs complain how loud it is during carbine competition. But it cant be all that bad,,, i ranked third in our club out of 30 shooters...

I have killed more hogs with Ruger 10/22 than I can count. It is all about shot placement.

As mentioned above, shot placement and shot distance. Wouldn't try shooting anything over 100 yards with that, and maybe that is pushing it, don't know. Shot placement is key with .223/5.56, so make sure you are putting down a good neck shot, otherwise, don't expect much unless its a small hog.
Of course we want a after-action report, so make sure and fill us all in!

I hate trolling in fact i hate fishing period.....Let me take that back i like hunting big carp with 30-06 and my bow !!!!
