Hadn't seen a video up with both the photon and x-sight with an active target. I have been attempting this for months now it seems. Never fails a pig busts us, DVR doesn't work, x-sight wont record and its not frozen, you get the point..... Rushed the shot a little, since all the stars aligned to let this happen. Last thing we wanted was to see it spook on us. Of course he stood with his tail towards us behind the feeder legs. But another hog down is what matters, right. Anyway here's a little info to make more sense of itUNV T38 IR illuminator is on the x-sight No IR Illuminator turned on, on the Photon, just using what the Xsight is throwing out. standing less than 3 ft apart Target is roughly 70 yards away. Suppressor on the photon, no suppressor on the x-sight

I have done a side by side as well, X site is better in daytime. Photon better at night. I went Photon as I will never use my rig earlier than dusk which is when it starts to work best.

No just in person with both running and my observation was the same as yours. Resolution is higher on the photon. I am looking for a 4.6x to go with my 6.5. For the price they are great scopes.

I have both and agree the Photon is better at night.

I think bang for the $$$$ Photon is top dog, I have one on my 300blk. Wish they made one with 1x-4.5x variable. The light gathering at 1x would be awesome. Would make a great close range option, 300blk subs or 22lr. Image is nice and clear, going from MKIII 60mm $9K thermal to the photon it's amazing the clarity of the photon, and you still have $8.5K in your pocket But spotting hogs at 1000yds pitch black night MKIII 60mm is very nice!
