IMHO chokes are over rated. Your ability to shoot is where it is at. I shoot a pattern master, but I think they are all pretty good. My wife is a really good shot and she shoots a factory remington choke & she kills plenty of birds.
If it bleeds I can KILL IT

I put a Modified choke in my gun and never take it out.
Just went goose/crane hunting and it worked great. I was shooting 3" #2's

I shot a full out of my 1187 super mag for prolly 3 years and the steel wore groves. I bought a pattern master for it and I can't tell.. I shoot a sbe 2 with a pattern master for prolly 7 years now and I really like it.

Also knocked down a gadwall going away- just to see what would happen- fell 200+ yards on my property. Dog retrieved. I only put in MOD if birds not finishing. You can also shoot 3.5 inch #2s w IC very tight pattern to about 40 yards- stock Beretta tubes Bythe way- your NOT supposed to shoot ANY steel w OEM full choke. MOD patterns like full w waterfowl loads- full doesn't pattern well w waterfowl loads
