Hello, has anyone ever hunted here before (after anything) and had any luck? If so, is it worth the cost of the permits and such?

I think it is. I hunted there before I joined a lease and really enjoyed it. I hunted both the southern portion and the northern portion though I preferred the southern (near Ladonia). It's going to be a very different place once the lake is done; but that's a few years off.

For squirrel the Bois D'Arc unit is more suited. Plan to take my boys with me soon for some squirrel hunting.

The Ladonia unit would be good rabbit hunting, but for squirrel the northern unit would be better.

I definitely think it's worth the cost I've spent much more time in the northern units

Thinking about going up there for Eastern Gobblers next weekend, anyone ever try their luck up there?
