What the duck God's don't bring, great spirit does. We went to a spot, killed some wood ducks, saw a few mallards. Not a lot of duck activity. On the way back something peeked my interest. I have learned what to look for so far as Native American camps. As soon as we hit the beach we were in it. This was a one hour hunt. I sure would liked to hammer out a limit of greenheads but it is what it is. Maybe next time we can get both greenheads and arrowheads.

I don't know anything about those things, or finding them, but that looks like a good haul.

Phenomenal haul. My nephew graduated from A and M last Friday. This was a little celebratory get together. He found the tan one. It is a Brazos Fishtail 8000 to 10,000 years old. This was his first NA artifact find. Spectacular first find.

I believe that traditional religion used dog years.

Pulling those off of any land controlled by any government entity is illegal I believe.

Pulling those off of any land controlled by any government entity is illegal I believe. Not that I care - but this is correct.

Those are cool I have never found one. I stumble across a few in the woods when I was a kid. Once I learned what to look for so far as a camp, things changed drastically for my locating points. My duck lease has a camp on it that is hard to describe what all we have found. There are apposing ridges that face each other. We have only hunted on side seriously. On the other side we found flakes in the road. I am hoping to shoot a greenhead limit and find a point in the same morning. If I am not getting my days mixed up these were found the same weekend as we shot these.

It is my Monday and the coffee isn't working. LOL I just figured out what you were saying. LOL again! Oh and thank you. I have some points which I have been offered big money. I have one single arrowhead that three collectors offered me $500. I just can't do it.

Nice finds. I'd rather find artifacts than harvest an animal.

Back when cooper was young and kicking out 8lb bass like Washington kicking out bad ideas. I was launching a bass boat at the state park and a guy stopped me at the ramp and warned me not to go to the island and collect arrowheads. Which I had zero intrest in doing. But he went on and on how the "feds" had filmed him doing so and he was now charged with a felony.

Thank you. I have had a lot better days and a lot worse days. I have learned to appreciate them all.
