Here's another one that I'm not too sure of. I know that he is still not mature, but do you guys think he will ever be an 8 ?

2 1/2 or so, too young to really show what he'll be. Give him another couple of years. If by 4 1/2 or so he's not what you want, turn him into freezer fodder.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.

Unless y'all are on a huge place that is meticulously managed, it isn't going to do any good to cull a deer here and there. I'd save your buck tags for deer you like.

I am going way against the grain here, but I essentially culled the 3 year old version of that deer yesterday. Every deer is different, but the one I took yesterday was still missing a G1 and was a still a basic 6 point frame. He was just a little heavier and about 14" wide. He was chasing a doe also, so I felt real good pulling the trigger on him.
