I always keep a mosquito head net in my bag. It's light, doesn't take up a lot of room, and can save your hunt. Don't forget your binoculars. Chapstick, surgical gloves for easy cleanup, extra glasses if you wear them, a trash bag, and a dose or two of Aleave or ibuprofen. A head or back ache can ruin a hunt.

Depends on the hunt. If it is just a normal morning/afternoon hunt sitting in one of our blinds the only thing I usually take other than what I have on me everyday is rifle bullets and binoculars. I don't carry a bag to the stand.

for the stand I merely have a small camo fanny pack ... extra bullets, range finder, knife, sharpener, flashlight and face netting (mainly wear for mosquitoes in warmer weather). I have a small backpack that stays in the truck that has a couple extra knifes, ribbon, rain gear, gloves, TP, couple bottles of water, lighter, snack bars, extra flashlight, extra bullets for various rifles. I carry a pen and pocket knife in my pants pocket along with wallet where license lives.

I'm thinking of adding a tourniquet. I have a packet of quick clot gauze pads, probably a better idea for traumatic wounds like gunshots/arrows/knife wounds.
Adult late onset hunter. Why did I wait so long to get started?

I always bring a good camera with a long lense. I get as much enjoyment out of photographing nature as I do shooting game.

I fixed that problem years ago. My blind is tall and getting up and down the ladder to pee was getting old. So a few years ago I drilled a hole in the floor, then took a garden hose and it down one of the legs in the blind then across the ground as far as it would go. I placed a funnel on the end inside the blind and covered up the hose on the ground. Now it hangs on the wall in the blind out of the way and I can pee all I want without ever getting out. That still hasn't solved my problem about the churning my gut gets EVERY morning about 10 minuets prior to daylight. I guess I should have used a bigger hose?
I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.
