Don't sweat it brother man. I'm sure you wanted the opinion of a real gunsmith anyway.

Next time I'll just have to ask if not a gun smith please don't comment

I'll ream out the chamber to a 3.5 inch because that alpine gunsmith guy is to much of a p***y to do it.

I have no affiliation with alpine, but calling someone a [censored] who won't do work with a ton of liability attached to it is borderline idiotic.

I'm sure a modern 12 gauge barrel can handle the case pressure of a 3.5 inch.

Youre removing wall thickness in a place where pressure is the highest. Not worth it.

I've got an 8 bore reamer you can borrow. If you're going to do it do it right. Reamer rental is $150 with a $400 deposit.

That's a good idea. I'll get a super tight pattern.

Someone comes and asks a gunsmith about a question regarding double guns, I answer it based off my knowledge coming from being one of the few people in the USA capable of building doubles from scratch, then get called arrogant in the process because you disagree or don't like my advice. Whatever...

tdk although some of your remarks where kinda sarcastic, i was referring to that chump charlesb as being arrogant. if i was talking about you i would have listed your name. i dont call indirect shots. when i call it, youll know it

This is what you said.

I'm the only person that used the word "necessary", therefor it's easy to interpret you were referring to me.
Likewise your use of "people" in your last sentence is plural. You'd think if you were referring to one person you would use their name directly as you so pointed out.

If you've got to have dumb responses, then you'll just have to ask somewhere else.

Really?? The dude was just asking questions.

Part of the deal on asking questions is to pay attention to the answers. The fellow received good advice from several folks here - but it wasn't what he wanted to hear, and he decided that he would rather whine at that point. - I do not have much time or patience for disrespectful whiners.

Maybe one of these real intelligent and civilized folks here who have been spewing ignorant venom can help him out. - I'm sure that he can depend upon them to fix him right up.

Again, he was asking questions. At no point did he ever come across as a "disrespectful whiner". You never offered any insight regarding the subject in question. The only one to do that was TDK.

Lol I whined by asking more questions? I told tdk thanks for the advice and that I wasn't going to to do anything. And if you have no time for ignorance or whining why are you still posting on this? Definitely since the only one one with any real useful information was tdk all you did was be a smart arse keep on moving with your garbage man
