Go ahead and step up to the Colt. Halfway kidding
The Ruger is a nice gun for the money.
The Colt is the real deal but is too heavy for serious hunting IMO although I have killed 2 elk and made the shot of a lifetime on a running boar hog with it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HL50wLf2vw4
Mine has a Vortex Razor on top just too make sure it's plenty heavy.
I watched thru the spotting scope while my son used it to put 4 shots at 1000 into the center of a full size IPSC
Steel target then on the 5th head shot so it's capable for sure.
