Anyone ever try using a red filter on the eyepiece to keep from losing night vision while using the thermal scope? We used to use them on the digital radar screen all the time at night while flying.

Just turn down the brightness and use Sepia. That might be an easier solution. I don't notice an issue as only one eye is affected. The other remains unaffected and viable.
