I couldn't stand it any longer. I have corn hitting the ground and a camera to watch over it. It may be a little early but I just had to!

Don't expect to see much. All I get pics of right now is turkeys, dove and crowns. Oh, the everpresent coons too.

I let my feeders run year round. I live on the ranch that I hunt so I always have hogs to shoot or deer to watch. Just watched a bachelor group of some very impressive startup bucks eat for an hour this morning. Four very nice 125 to 150 pound hogs killed in May as well.

I hear you. I feel blessed every time I am able to sit in the stand, be that in deer season or out. I do it as many times as I can.

I'm in parker county and run my feeders year round also. Just went out yesterday and filled back up. Also has to cut some shooting lanes at my ladder stand. It looked like a jungle back there with all this rain. Checked the camera and had a couple hundred picks of deer the last few months. Bucks have anywhere from 2 to 6 inches of antlers growing and the does haven't dropped their fawns yet. Can't wait for october!

Myself. I think most of our fawns have hit the ground around here. Between last years rain and this years flooding, it looks like we live in Ireland so the fawn survival rate should be high again. Probably have record numbers of deer in the state. Cameras going to be burning up some batteries with all the activity but that's fine by me.

Saw more deer than turkeys at the feeders in Eastland County the last weekend of turkey season. Bucks and does hitting the feeders. Not feeding very much at a time just keeping them interested

I keep my feeders and cameras going year round also. You just never know what might show up at them.

I had to open the feed pen just to get some critters to eat the corn. It's all hogs/turkey/coons at ours until Sept. With this never ending rain the deer won't touch the corn on our place.

We try to keep feed out year round. It is tuff/discouraging during the summer with the hog numbers. As of this weekend we now have 1/2 of our feeders penned and if this year is anything like the last the deer will use the penned feeder significantly more than they will one that has hogs. So in the off season we are feeding the core of the property in locations hogs cant get too.
It's hell eatin em live
