Had to share this with you all. This is my wife's cousin up in Wisconson. Coolest damn looking turkey I've seen.

She's pretty proud. Her 3rd bird. Notice the small cut on her cheek? She's a lefty and had to shoot right handed and got bit a little...ha

I feel like I saw somewhere that turkeys like that are products of a domestic and wild turkey.

Cool bird, congrats.
Tame turkeys came from the wild turkeys and the different colorations are rare in the wild populations but do occur, with many not making it to adult hood so we see them less in the wild since it is more difficult for them to survive/hide.
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

Kmon1 is correct. Rare but wild is what my uncle(wildlife biologist) had told us when she killed it

Awesome!! We have a good number of strange color birds in Wisconsin. I'm not sure why but white is not uncommon. It looks like she got bit by a hammer on her check. I usually get hit by a scope at least once a year.lol
