Looking for the lowest set of rings I can get for a flat top AR. Need 30mm rings for a 50mm bell. I'm having a hard time finding specs on the mounts height.

Badger high on a Badger 20 MOA riser, is what I'm running.
May need extra high if going directly to the flattop.
Or look into LaRue one piece mounts.

I've run Seekins high and Aadland high on my AR10's just fine. I don't see the need for the REPR type mount for this application.
I was wrong...on anything technical. Fitz............. is right, ya know............

You had me, until I saw the mono-pod. This one's from my early shooting days! I will say the desert tech monopod is a bad mama jama though. Will totally change your outlook on monopods.

Jeff1383- that's the height I'm looking for. Does Larue only make the QD mounts? I have zero use fit that and would prefer a more permanent mount

I have zero use fit that and would prefer a more permanent mount I just used a Nikon M-223 mount to mount a 50mm scope on my latest AR build. Solid one-piece design, good height, good eye relief position. Not too shabby for $79.

I went with a Badger Ordnance Unimount 20 MOA and 1.3 inch height. That's a 56mm Nightforce on an AR10.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

Would that setup clear with a solid rail on top of the hand guard? I won't be running a 56mm though, but would like the 20moa setup

We should go to Garvey Lake a try and drive through it. We will leave your truck on the road in case the Beached Whale doesn't make it

I won't be running a 56mm though, but would like the 20moa setup I assume you're asking me and yes, I think it would clear, but you want to get the best fit for your scope. They make the Badger mounts in different heights, so I got the actual dimensions of the scope and did the math to figure out what height I needed. I actually needed like 1.1 inches and the 1.3 was the closest that would clear it. http://www.badgerordnance.com/unimounts.html
