Had a great quail hunt this weekend. Good people and great dogs always equals a great weekend. My little Annie is not pictured this round, but had her fair share of points this weekend. She is becoming a bird finding machine. We shot 39 on Saturday and 10 early Sunday morning. Scenting conditions are starting to get a little worse, we could really use a rain. Here are a few pictures from the iPhone. I was also unlucky enough to lose my new Garmin Tritonics controller, but was also lucky enough to find it the next morning.:) Has anyone thought about using a tile on there lanyard to help relocate the controller? Or does anyone have a better idea? Wished I would have waited just a second on this picture when she really locked down.

I have a buddy that seems to lose his every other year because he keeps it in a pocket in his game vest vs on a holster around his neck. Getting one of those car keys finder deals that makes a noise might be a good Xmas present for him next year. We spent 30 mins of prime hunting time in CRP looking for it last month.

Sounds like a fun hunt. My lanyard stays around my neck.

I like two pocket shirts or vest. I keep my e-collar remote in my right shirt pocket, with the lanyard around my neck. I keep my Garmin handheld in my left pocket with the lanyard looped to the one over my neck.
The newer one are combined with just one handheld.

The newer one are combined with just one handheld. x2...I also have each attached to me by lanyard...if it isn''t attached to me, I'll lose it. And yes, between those two lanyards and a whistle, I do get them tangled occasionally. Not nearly as big a deal as ordering a new handheld unit.

I have the Alpha 100 all in one. I like the belt clip option with it dummy corded to my vest. Keeping up with multiple collars, dogs, and hunters proved too much work. Fun started packing its stuff heading for the door PDQ! Better now.
