Yesterday I was working down near where I hunt and occassionally shoot so I threw all my stuff in the vehicle. Midday I drove over to where I already had a target setup at 800 yds and got the spotting scope set with my IPhone attached. I use the IHR reticle in my Nightforce and I knew how to measure 6 MOA using the reticle and adjusting the scope power from 10X to 5X should give me 12 MOA which is my dope for 800yds. Decided to try it instead of dialing. Wind was light 3-5mph L to R. First the video Now a picture of the hit.

Very nice! What bullet are you running? 80gr AMax at 3560fps. I drove around to check the impact and laid down prone and shot a smaller target that is 430 yds away. Same deal just held 3 MOA(dope called for 3.1 at 400) so I hit a little low. http://s157.photobucket.com/user/venatic_photos/media/1E99A20F-4CAA-4979-A04E-9CF0714D0EFA.mp4.htmlThen I went and called a coyote so I could say I accomplished something. 238 yards... chip shot

Nice work, Need to hop mine up a bit your speeds are awesome. I actually loaded a little faster loads with the 80gr but since my original goal was mid 3500's range I backed off a tad to help brass life. Even at the velocity shown below in the picture...no sticky bolt or serious warning signs but just seemed like I was pushing the limits. Its all in the secret powder. Well that and the pixie dust.

No neck turning so far. On the Lapua 22-250 brass I did nothing at all. In fact I just loaded them like they were 22-250 but with heavy bullets backing off the charge I was using with the necked down 6mm Creedmoor brass. I fired them and they came out fine except the necks are about .030 shorter.
Now with the 6mm Creedmoor brass I did not neck turn just ran thru a .260 bushing then a.253 bushing then loaded and shot. The necks were thicker than the 22-250 fireformed brass so I was having to use two different bushings for the two differnt types of brass. I also noticed when I trimmed the 6mm brass after necking down the pilot was very hard to get in and out of the neck. I then tried inside neck reaming just to see what results I would get. That did standardize all the brass to where a single bushing would work. My last small batch of ammo was FL sized using my new Whidden 22 Creedmoor die set.
