I've fed Purina Antlermax since August and honestly have seen maybe 2-3 deer feeding on it all season. I mixed very little corn in there, primarily all protein. I guess I would ask if deer have to like protein always or do they sometimes just decide to not take to it? What about trying something else sweet creep feed or something else?

We have tried so many different kinds of protein and we can't get them to eat any of it.

I hope they never reject it. Mine started on feed in 2-3 weeks just over 3 yrs ago now. They backed off last year with all the rain to about 45% of what I feed in 2014. Consumption really picked up starting in Oct. Thru the end of June I had only feed 1 ton of feed for the year.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

DQ
Buy the FMC 20 percent and mix 1/3 with corn to start until they start emptying it routinely. Then go straight.

When you say see eating it are you talking about on game cam pictures or with your eyes?
If you have an abundance of natural food sources with good nutrient content/density they may not hit the protien much at all. With the rains we've had they may not need it. I know protien consumption on our place in Young county dropped to less than half of previous years.
I don't know about your place but on ours & the leases we have in the area I haven't seen range conditions this good in at least 8 years. Not so good if you have cameras pointing at or hunt feeders, excellent if you get out and find their preferred food sources and travel paths that don't lead to a feeder.
