I'd be more than squeaking if I had been waiting one year. I would be a bit if it had been 2 yrs. Absolutely no excuse for the delays. If he has been building them for a while then he has should have perfected the build and not running into any issues.

I'm still trying wrap my head around anyone waiting 1-2 years longer than promised. Especially after being told that other orders have come in, have been built and shipped out - while mine isn't.

No doubt...that information would just make me even madder. Would be different if it was one or two that had an issue over a few years, but there are numerous complaints and only one or two that are actually happy. The few stories alone would keep me from even making contact with them and if I had one I was waiting on that long, I would get my deposit back and find someone else.

Way too many people more than capable of building a blind in that price point to wait and deal with this kind of stuff.

I am thinking they have to hire rocket scientists to build them since they are round, complicated to build and built outside in the extreme weather conditions of Texas .

I have built 20 million dollar schools in that same time period

My pool with hot tub, outdoor kitchen and fireplace was built in 6 months. With weather and other delays!

Part of the problem is me not staying in front of his face. I travel for a living just this year alone I have been in 22 countries to give you an idea. Since June I have been home a combined 29 days.

When I am out of town my days packed schedule wise. I let it slip. But one thing now that I am back in town I can promise you one thing. The squeaky bearing gets the attention!

So basically, you were easy for him to put off for more "urgent" clients. Unfortunately, you weren't the only one put off.

Wow. Makes me want to change leases to one that has blinds included. It seems that we have a good idea for a good product but it is ruined somehow. I agree that Dan's operation needs to get much larger or much smaller. It's a shame.

There is a few other stories like that. Really sad!

So here's my plan. I'm ordering a 12 footer, then when he needs it I'm gonna trade it for a 20 footer then when he needs it I'll trade for a storm shelter.. I'm gonna work my up to a ranch style home

The Duke - seems the appropriate course of action is for you to arrange a special "meeting". The guest list to include yourself, Ultra Towers, and an honorable person... commonly referred to as a judge. There's even a special place to hold the necessary meeting.

You should send Cast. Seems like he has a pretty relationship with them.
