We are bringing our grandkids ages 10 & 13 to TX to deer hunt for Christmas. Neither have had hunter education. I have read the TPWD handbook and just want to be sure I got this right. They can still get a license they just have to hunt with an adult licensed hunter, correct? Do they get their own deer tags with their license or are they tagged with the adult's? Thanks

They'll get their own license with all the tags, you can not tag their deer for them.

For what it's worth, hunting with or "accompanied" by an adult is defined as being within normal speaking distance.
