No on the scope
Leupold silver vx3 would look much smoother on that gun

I always go with medium, with that scope you can probably get away with low. I have Talley one piece rings, they are GTG. Nice rifle btw. What caliber is it?

According to the Conetrol website, their best stainless rings and bases will cost you $300, and their cheapest set is ~$200. That's kinda steep. Color-wise I don't know how the Talley's match up with your rifle, but I think I paid <$50 for the SS Talley set I bought and I am impressed with everything about them.

Conetrol - I would purchase more if I could ever get G to place my order! I had to drive to Seguin and just wait in the office once before. I've tried several times to order rings via the web and phone and just can't make it happen.
If someone knows the secret to get an order placed, please share it.
I really like his products.

I just put a set of Talley LWs on my Tikka SS Lite in .30-06 last week to replace the doubtful factory rings. The low Talleys left plenty of clearance for my Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40.
Your scope looks like it has a 40-44 mm objective bell, so the Talley low mount will work. If your scope is 50 mm, then I'd choose the Talley mediums.
For a hunting rifle that will be carried and used in all terrains and climes, the LW Talleys have much to recommend. The main downside would be if you want a rig with the capability to quickly remove the scope and go to irons (if you someday choose a rifle with open sights), then the Weaver-style bases and rings would be useful.

I've grown to like Warne steel bases with Burris Zee rings. All steel, and all stout.

That's a nice rifle and a fine choice for rings IMO.
