Thought I might pass this along to everyone. I have a large breed male mastiff, and he would get pretty smelly just a few days after a bath. He lives inside primarily. We are feeding him raw, and my wife commented to our neighbor (a vet) about the smell. She said to feed him a couple of table spoons every day of plain unflavored yogurt with his dinner. In 3 days, his musty smell was completely gone.
Apparently the bacteria in the yogurt helped his digestive track and really made a huge difference.

I know a few people who may want to try this as well
There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Yep, yogurt and raw eggs do wonders for a dogs coat and skin. Both are included in my dogs meals daily.

My two get yogurt once a day...we don't battle ear problems and I am convinced it's because of the yogurt.

I have also heard that a spoonful or two of canned pumpkin is really good for coats and skin. Personally have never done it, but an old gal I used to date swore by it on her two labs
