I am old school. Not a pistol...but a revolver. LCRX. I think it weighs in at a little more than 13 ounces.

I really like my PM9 by Karr. Smallest 9mm I could find. Fits in the pocket of dress slacks. Works well in a Kangaroo Carry and I have IWB holster that will let me wear it with Gym Shorts.

The TCPs are actually really good. I've shot three different examples with zero issues. The only negatives with the TCP are the lack of real sights and the sharp corners at the muzzle end of the slide which feel a little sharp if you pocket carry. Unlike the LCP and P3AT it also has a functioning slide lock. I'd get the stainless model and sand down the corner on the muzzle and call it good. If Taurus would make a model with real sights like Ruger did with the LCP it'd be the best .380 in the category because it has a way better trigger than similarly designed pistols.
I don't pocket carry much anymore but if I did I'd probably get a TCP. They are cheap and reliable and they get the job done.

Hammerless 38 revolver. Taurus or Smith & Wesson. Goes in and out of front pocket easily!

Ruger LC9S (in a Desantis), had carried the LC9 but the S version is a dramatically better trigger pull.

I looked at and shot the 3AT, LCP, & TCP. The TCP won out because of the slide lock and the last round slide lock. Both tactical advantages I would want in any pistol regardless of size.

I've been looking at those. They now have Bersa Thunder PLUS. The same gun with polymer lower and double stack mag. I'm upgrading when I find one.

Love my LC9. No malfunctions. Accurate. Just had to learn the trigger pull. LC9S should be just as reliable but with advantage of better trigger.

I got my P3AT customized and ported. It's real smooth now and cycles well, a real shooter. But the Bersa Thunder CC is much more accurate and also a shooter. It's amazing how much better my Walther 380 shoots but I don't consider that gun a throw down weapon. Wouldn't want to hand a fine gun like that to the man.

Isn't the LC9 a bit large for the pocket?

... but I don't consider that gun a throw down weapon. Wouldn't want to hand a fine gun like that to the man. I carry a rather expensive Sig p938 everyday everywhere. I've thought about having to turn it in. However, I've also thought that if that pistol saves my life once, it will be worth the $700; regardless of where it ends up afterward.
