So, the deal is that I have to sell my bow to get a new one. I'm pretty close to closing a deal on that, and have been going crazy doing research and whatnot about which bow to get. Of course I'm looking at the Mathew's line, and since I've already bought Lost Camo accessories, there's no going bak lol. I was looking at the Creed originally, but they discontinued that. Haven't looked into the XS but to my understanding it's the same as the original. Looked into Z2, but apparently it's just remarketing. Just now started to look into Chill R and SDX, though I'm not sure if it's okay for me to shoot a lady's bow? Lol. And lastly, I've been recommended the No cam over and over again. The reviews and stats look good as well. Any tips on which route to go? I know that "The bow picks you, you don't pick the bow" but some guidelines would be much appreciated. Thanks.

the creed xs is not the same as the Creed. It has a shorter ATA, hence XS(think xtra small) it is about 2 in shorter.
I shot the creed and loved it, just sold it. I upgraded to a CHillx mainly for 3d but will hunt with it. I have not shot the NoCam yet, but heard they are great.
The only real womans bow that Mathews makes is the Jewel. All other can be bought in pink, doesnt make it a womens bow.
You are right... let the bow pick you. Try a HTR, creed xs and the chill sdx, maybe anything else they will let you shoot. I would think the XS is your best bet on just ATA. It is the shortest.
Good luck with it.
edit to add... quit reading start shooting. only way you will know. So what if the bow is a redesign.. if it is awesome for you... who cares.

The no cam is as good as you read. Personally, I'd buy a mission.

Just shoot all the Mathews you can and pick the one that makes you feel warm and fuzzy!

Look at your budget first, then shoot the Mathews in that budget. Or, shoot the high end first, then beg, borrow and steal to get enough for the best.

Just went and shot the chill x, chill r, elite e32 and no cam. All were great bows for sure, really liked all of them. The no cam is the most dead in hand bow I have ever shot. Walked out with the no cam. No speed demon, but all around just a great bow.

Look at your budget first, then shoot the Mathews in that budget. Or, shoot the high end first, then beg, borrow and steal to get enough for the best. When the Z7 Extreme came out, my dad decided he was going to upgrade his bow. I was 11 or twelve at the time I think, and had gotten a lot of money as a gift from family and friends earlier. That was about $650. I figured I'd get him that because, hey, he got me my rifle and BB gun and shotgun and bow and takes me on hunts. So with a $650 budget, my dad got the Z7E @ MSRP ($999), and a QAD Ultra Rest HD (HDX wasn't out at the time) for $150. And I bought the GlenDel PreRut for $160. How's that for budgeting, eh?

I am new to archery and have gone around shops shooting different bows. One day I went to a bow shop and shot the Mathews HTR No Cam, the next day I bought one. I love it, the bow shoots incredibly well. Dead silent, no vibration, accurate, I just can't say enough good things about it. I am not the best shot in the word, only been shooting archery for a couple months really, but I was hitting targets at 50 yards without much of a problem yesterday.
The bow was a little bit out of my budget but as soon as I got it set up and made arrows for it I was so happy I bought the bow. I actually bought it from a guy off Archerytalk for a pretty good price. There are quite a few used Mathews HTR's you can buy, I went that route and am very glad I did.

Yeah there was one guy selling a brand new 70# RH Lost Camo 29" HTR for way less than if I were to buy from my local pro shop. It's a great place, but my guys only sell MSRP! And I have to finish some personal stuff before I can get a bow now. Thanks Dad, thanks.

Went to pro shop today. Shot Creed XS, HTR, Chill R, and a Hoyt. Liked R, but too jumpy. Hated Hoyt. Fell in love with the other two but I think I'm gonna go Creed XS. Like its lighter weightness, and I figure I can get good enough to kill deer with it. And it's plenty fast.

Sounds like you are a Mathews fan, just don't shoot an Elite or Obsession bow or you might change your mind again
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch
