BIL...you're killing me I'll be willing to bet that 1 moa @ 800 will be plenty humbling...if you doubt that shoot the 1moa @ 200y Not saying it can't be done but it isn't easy by any stretch (especially if you add mirage and any wind to the equation).

I was able to hit the 1 MOA targets where available with reticle holds only so I need some humbling

Next time you come back there will be very little prone shooting. You will be wishing for a 4 MOA target. Humbling will follow.

I have 1', 2', 3', 4' on a wobbly barricade. Also the handrailing that is 1'9" and 3'6".
1' there is some stretching involved. 1' 9" technique but not too hard 2' same 3' too high to kneel and get stable 3'6" too high to kneel and get stable 4' can't kneel, but there is a good technique

Nope. Didnt have time. Two shooters slows things down a bit. Plus I already told you that you caught on faster than most folks.

Next time. I was practicing my reticle holds to 700 and then we pulled out my heavy barrel 223 to see how well the 75 Amax could do at 700. I'm pretty happy with my choice of rifle trainer Savage Short Action | Apache Bull Profile Barrel 30" 223 Wyle 1/7 Twist | APA Fat Bastard | XLR Chassis | Vortex PST 6-24 EBR-2C MRAD | Rifle Basix Trigger edit: ignore the rings, I sent the wrong rings to my smith to get CeraKoted and didn't realize till I installed them.
