They ran across the road about 25 yards in front of me, counted 2 mature males 3 mature females and 3 young ones. They had just come off the east side of the mountain. There was 4 more crossed that I didn't see but from their track's it looked like two more females with kid's. Looks like they're here to stay.

They can be great to hunt, but I am not a fan of them on any place. They can and do reproduce like rabbits. They can have triplets in good years like this year. Twins are very common making them tough on the habitat. 10 hd could be 75-100 hd in 5-7 years.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

What are the aoudad good for other than a head mount? Wiping out protein from your feeders in the middle of the night, reproducing (twins/triplets), pushing whitetails off your feeders, as well as 5-6 pages of thread about whether or not they are edible.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Have heard herds of them of 150-200 have been seen on some ranches out west in one herd. Does not take them long to start to multiply then compete with deer and livestock for feed.

They can be hell on feeders, too, especially if you have pens around your feeders. The rams will get in the feed pen and fight and they will bend feeder legs and knock over feeders.

Had a ranch in utopia that worked on for a couple yrs. We high fenced it. Didn't stock one Aoudad! In two yrs we had a huntable population. In five we were having to cull ewes because they were emptying protein feeders as fast as we could fill um.
