The caliber should be on barrel. Run the ssn by Remington to get a full picture of the rifle.

It's a 300 win mag. Any ideas on the value of it.

The 700BDL has the drop away floor plate to empty the magazine or a detachable magazine. The CDL has scroll work on the rifle to make it "fancy". I'd guess it's a 700 CDL. It's worth what someone will pay for it.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

Do not remember the CDL with gloss stock finish, and seem to remember some BDL Deluxe with scroll engraving, gloss finish stock, white line spacer, forend tip and scroll engraving.

Its a BDL. For a short while they made them with the scrolled actions (think they called them "enhanced") but its basically a standard BDL.

Had a .243 from early 70's just like it, it's a BDL. What do you want for it?

700 BDL Custom Deluxe. The white spacers are a dead give away.

New they sell for around $700 at Academy and Wal Mart. What they bring on the used market now days I couldn't tell you. I know I see a ton of them in the classifies for $600+ but I don't think they are getting that much for them.

I just bought a Left Hand stainless 700 LSS for $650 and those things are rare since they only made them a few years and haven't produced any since 2002.
